Use of cookies

In order to facilitate your navigation on the website and to optimise technical management, Delpower may occasionally use “cookies”.

A “cookie” is a small piece of information saved by a website in your computer’s Internet browser. This cookie can be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same website. The cookie cannot be read by a website other than the one that created it. The site uses cookies for administrative purposes, for example, to save your preferences for certain types of information so that you do not have to repeat the same keystrokes each time you visit our site.

Two cookies are used on the site:

  • Google Analytics (see above)
  • Vimeo for pages with videos

Most cookies only work for the duration of a session or visit. None of them contain any information that would allow you to be contacted by telephone, e-mail or post. You can also configure your browser to inform you when a “cookie” is created or to prevent them from being saved.

Statistics and audience measurement

Use and transmission of your personal data

How long your data is stored

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognised and approved instead of being left in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if possible), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

The rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You may also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Transmission of your personal data

Visitors’ comments can be checked with an automated service for detecting unwanted comments.
